This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart. Ephesians 4

Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, then we will be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But, you have not so learned Christ; If so be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: then put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Praise the Lord!

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. 1 John 4:4

Thank you, Lord that I understand and believe your power, that I understand that there is nothing or no one greater than you. Lord, you are living in me, and I am confident that you will not allow any power outside of your realm to conquer me, that you will not allow me to be victimized, but instead be lifted up. Lord, Keep me under the shadow of your wing; keep me as the apple of your eye, for I am confident, that greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. Thank you, Lord!

God understands our prayers even when we cannot put them into words; He intercedes for us in our groaning.

Heavenly Father, you hear the groaning of our hearts, you understand our needs, because you know us intimately. Lord, there is nothing that we do that is hidden from you, no place where we can hide that you cannot find us, no valley too deep that you will not rescue us, and therefore, we will trust you, we will depend on you, confident, that you will provide, deliver, heal and restore us good Lord, and we give you all the thanks and all the praise, in Jesus name.

“For the earth is the Lord’s and all its fullness. Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1Corinthians 10

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit, there are differences in ministries but the same Lord, and there are
differences of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all, and the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, God has given us all unique gifts and we should use these gifts to lift each other up, we should not use them for our own profit, we must not use these gifts to entice others and cause them to lose
their way. Whatever gifts given to us by God should be used to edify others – to enlighten, inform, educate instruct, improve and teach. If you are not using your gifts in this manner, you are not using them to the glory of God.

“O thou, from whom all goodness flows, I lift my heart to thee; in all my sorrows, conflicts and woes,

“When on my aching burdened heart my sins lie heavily, thy pardon grant, thy peace impart: good Lord, remember me. When trials sore obstruct my way, and ills I cannot flee: then let my strength be as my day: good Lord, remember me. If worn with pain, disease and grief this feeble body see; grant patience, rest and kind relief: good Lord, remember me. If, for thy sake, upon my name shame and reproaches be, I’ll hail reproach and welcome shame! For my good Lord, will remember me.” Amen!

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6

“Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! It is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and praise is beautiful. Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; lift his name up high for his name is exalted.” Let us Praise God for he has dealt bountifully with us, he awoke us up this morning, he will strengthen us to face any problem that comes our way, he will bless us in our going out and our coming in, he will satisfy all of our needs in parched places, he will make a path for us where there is none. Oh, sing praises to our God for there is no other like him or worthy of our praise. Let everything that has breath this morning, praise the Lord!

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy. Let your mercy O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You. Psalm 33

“Come you children, listen to me and I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit, depart from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it; for the eyes of the Lord is on the righteous and His ears are open to their cries. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who trusts in Him. Oh, fear the Lord you His saints, there is no want to those who fear Him. Let your mercy O lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You.”

“My Father, for another night of quiet sleep and rest, for all the joy of morning light, thy holy name be blest.” Thank you, Lord, for this new day, and all the blessings you will send our way, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

“Now with the newborn day I give myself anew to thee, that as thou wills that I may live, and what thou wills I’ll be. Whatever I do, things great or small, whatever I speak or frame, thy glory may I seek in all, and do all in Jesus Name. My Father, for His sake I pray, thy child accept and bless; and lead me by thy grace today in paths of righteousness.” Thank you, Lord!

All your strongholds are like fig trees, if they are shaken they will fall into the mouth of the eater- Nahum 2:12. God is able to break the strongholds in our lives, if we only claim them and surrender them to Him.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we have been enslaved to sin and the evil way for far too long, we have been under the yoke, bounded and entrapped, but God promised that He will break our bonds apart and cast away the cords from us, but, many of us are unwilling to claim the chains that have us bounded, we are ashamed to confess them before God, our God who knows that these strongholds could be broken. He said, they are like fig trees, and if they are shaken they will fall into the mouth of the eater. Are you ready for God to shake the strongholds in your life? Claim them, surrender them today and let God have his way, allow Him to give you a brand new start, trust Him; for He is the potter and we are the clay and He could make all things new. Praise the Lord!

“New every morning is the love our wakening and uprising prove; through sleep and darkness safely brought, restored to life and power and thought.” Thank you, Lord!

“New mercies, each returning day, hover around us while we pray; new perils past, new sins forgiven, new thoughts of God, new hopes of heaven. If on our daily course our mind, be set to hallow all we find, new treasures still, of countless price, God will provide for sacrifice. Old friends, old scenes, will lovelier be, as more of heaven in each we see; some softening gleam of love and prayer, shall dawn on every cross and care. The trivial round, the common task, will furnish all we ought to ask: room to deny ourselves; a road, to bring us daily nearer God. Only, O Lord, in thy dear love, fit us for perfect rest above; and help us, this and every day, to live more nearly as we pray.” Amen!
