What is the best costume that you could wear today that will show others just how much you care?

You could take off your old mask and put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, long-suffering and above all love. In unveiling your true selves, others will be pleasantly surprised at how well dressed you are, beneath it all. Have a blessed day!

Will you continue to live your life to the flesh, or will you allow Christ to live in you?

If you want Christ to live in you, it’s not too late, but you cannot do this alone, you cannot do this in your own strength. You will need to make a decision not to live to the flesh anymore, invite God into your heart, ask him to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you, and he will. God loves us too much to deny us when we come to him boldly. Won’t you invite God into your heart today?

Would you be ready if Jesus called you home today?

None of us know the hour or the day that Jesus will call us home. Therefore, we should be daily preparing a home in our heart for God, we should be cleaning out house and home, ridding ourselves of the idols, the evils and anything else that entices us away from God. The time to prepare is now, for tomorrow may be too late. If what is passing away before us, the world and all its lust seem so glorious, what remains will be much more glorious. I want to be ready when Jesus calls me home.

Do you present yourself to others in sheep’s clothing, when inwardly you are a ravenous wolf? Do you say one thing and mean another? Do others know you by your fruit?

If one is even blind and you covered a fig and a grape and gave him to eat, will he still not know the difference? So too, when we parade ourselves as one thing and under the cloak of darkness operate in another way, in time, all will see us for what we really are, and then they will call us out and we will be ashamed. We will then be known by our fruit, that we are nothing but wolves in sheep’s clothing, who say one thing and do another. My brothers and sisters in Christ, “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” Praise the Lord!

Will you trust God to fight your battles today?

Many confess that they are trusting God with all the situations they face, but yet, they are trying to find solutions elsewhere. If you have given a situation over to God, learn to be still, to wait patiently on the Lord, and watch him work it out. God works in mysterious ways to bring about the solutions we seek, but many of us miss out on the message by focusing on the mess. I am trusting God today for everything. Will you trust him too?

What will it benefit you if you take time to be holy?

As the world rushes by, we get caught up in so many things and if we are not careful we’ll find less time for God. But, as the song writer Ira Sankey reminds us, we should take time to be holy, to speak regularly with the Lord, to make friends with God’s children and help those who are weak, and by looking to Jesus and following his examples, others will see his likeness in us. He said, let us not be quick to run before God, but in joy or sorrow, trust in the Lord, and to never forget to seek his blessing in everything, and if being led by his spirit, we’ll be fitted for service above. Take time to be holy today and every day. Amen!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, are you the prodigal son or daughter this morning? Know that God is waiting to welcome you home with open arms.

Many of us have been rebellious, and have suffered great afflictions, we are struggling in places where we should be content. We feel like outcasts, when we could be welcomed. But, it’s never too late to come home. God is calling you home, he is waiting for you with open arms, no matter where you have been, or what you have done; he is calling all sinners to come home. Thank you, Lord for your forgiveness and your love towards us.

Does God deserve our praise? If then God deserves our praise, why are we so reluctant to praise his name?

“I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!” You deserve our praise, our highest praise, all honor and glory is yours O Father, for you desires nothing but the best for us, and therefore, the best we will give back to you, and we will begin with praise.

Do you desire to be guided by the Lord? Humble yourself, wait then on the Lord, and he shall direct your path.

Lord, we are daily in need of your direction, show us the path you have chosen for us, help us not to lean to our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge you, that we may fear you, for the fear of you O Lord, is the beginning of wisdom, fools runs from it, but we will run to it, for it is your will for us to know your truth and be guided by it. Therefore, let integrity and uprightness preserve us, for we will wait on you. Praise the Lord!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, are you ready to deny yourselves, take up your crosses and follow Christ?

When we take a decision to follow Christ, we should not turn back, we must be willing to daily bear whatever the cross we are called upon to bear, be it rejection or persecution, suffering, or shame, want or need, distresses or heartaches, and rejoice in them, for they will bring us closer to God, and after we have endured, we will reap the crown of life in Christ Jesus.
