Are you a hearer of God’s word or a doer of God’s word?

If we are doers of God’s word, we will abide in his faithfulness, we will trust in his word which reminds us, that, every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or change. We should strive to be more Christ-like as he is truth, and he has given us also the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures. Let us not be hearers of the word, but doers of the word who share the word. Praise the Lord!

Do you believe that God is able to renew your strength and make you mount up with wings like eagles?

When we are down and out, many times, our strength fails us, because of wavering faith in God, but we should understand that when we are down it gives God an opportunity to raise us up. He will allow us to rise up with wings like eagles, to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. Trust God in everything. He is able.

Are you willing to lay your all on the altar of sacrifice?

Lord, we are tired, we are worn, we are overburdened, and, we now realize that the battle is not ours, but yours, and that we are able to lay all on the altar of sacrifice, knowing that nothing that we are going through is new, or too hard for you, but that you will gladly take our yoke upon you and give us rest and sweet peace. Thank you, Lord!

Do you believe that God is able to turn your situation around?

There is nothing impossible with God. All he ask is that we have the faith to believe that he is able and the patience to wait for him to work it out. God is able to turn your situation around.

Will you put your trust in God as you go through your desolate valleys?

Many of us are fearful in the valley of desolation, but it should be for us a well spring. The valley is a place of strength, the valley is a place of solace, that valley is a place of reflection. Go through your valleys trusting in God and he will bring you out victoriously. Thank you, Lord, for my hills and my valleys!

Will you taste and see for yourself how good God really is?

My brother once told me that he wanted to have testimonies like mine. I said to him, you will not have testimonies like mine, you will have your own, but you must walk the lonesome valley, you must go through trials and tribulations trusting in God, and when he brings you out victoriously, you will be able to tell someone else that you have tasted for yourself and have seen the goodness of the Lord, who brought you through with a mighty hand. So go on, taste and see for yourself how good God really is. Let us praise the Lord and trust Him for His goodness and mercy towards us each and every day.

Are you still following the course of this world, living in sin and trespasses?

God’s will for us is to be saved by his grace so freely given. Therefore, we will pray to God to deliver us from sin and trespasses in which we now live and give us the desire to follow in his ways, and to be obedient children of the light. Praise the Lord!

Will you pledge today to do all that is good and right in the sight of the Lord so that you will be accepted?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, if you do not do what is right, sin will live at your door, it will desire to have you, but you must rule over it, so that you may be able to do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord, so that you will be accepted. Lord, direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Thank you, Lord!

Are you ready to put behind you your former way of life and be freed from sin?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, it is never too late to choose life. It is never too late to step out of your former self, corrupted by its deceitful desires which only leads to death and be crucified with Christ. Allow God to live in you so that you may be able to live by faith in Christ Jesus. When you put away the former things, you become a new creation, fit for God’s good work.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound?

Certainly not! We who have died to sin should no longer live in it. Do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Let us walk in love as Christ taught us. Sin shall not have dominion over us, for we are no longer under law but under grace. Therefore, let us live our lives in faith and by faith so grace may abound. Praise the Lord!
