If I make room for Jesus now, He will make time for me.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, make room for Jesus in your hearts today, and allow him to abide. Jesus has been so patient with us, He has been waiting for us to come home. So today, let us unbar the door and let Him in, and let His presence be our guide.

Are you asleep? Do you know what time it is?

Awake you who are sleeping, for the time to prepare is now, and the place to begin is here. Jesus is getting ready to make his second appearance and ready or not he is going to come. He has sent many messengers to prepare the way. Have you heard, or were you sleep-walking? Wake up, put on the armor of light, because salvation is nearer to us now, than when we became believers.

Have you ever thought about what you would be doing when Jesus comes?

Scripture reminds us, that the day will be the same as when Noah entered the ark. In those days before the flood, people were drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them away. So too will be the coming of the Son of Man. Keep awake therefore, for you do not know what day your Lord is coming.

Are you protected with the whole armor of God?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, the devil roams about seeking whom he may devour. Therefore, we cannot afford to be without God’s covering. We cannot afford to be partially covered. We must ensure that there is no vulnerability so that the enemy could have a stronghold in our lives. Put on the whole armor of God so that when the day of evil comes that you will be able to stand.

The joy of the Lord is my strength. It could be yours too.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. His strength is unsearchable, his thoughts are deep; when we have stopped thinking or doing, God is just getting started. Lord, I will trust in you with my whole heart, because my strength is in you, and with you, all things are possible to those who believe.

There is nothing that I will face today that I will allow to take away from all the good things God will do for me today.

Too many of us allow the struggles of life to overwhelm us; we forget to focus on God and not the problem. Dear Lord, remind us of the cross you bore for our sakes and the love which you promised would overflow us. Lord, when we are tempted to worry and complain, show us your kindness and change our focus. Amen!

We plant, but nothing grows if it is not fed and watered by God’s almighty hand.

Lord, we may plough the fields and scatter good seeds on the land, but it must be fed and watered by Your Almighty hand for it to grow; therefore, You send the snow in winter, the warmth to swell the grain, the breezes and the sunshine and soft refreshing rain. So, we understand, that, all good gifts around us are sent from heaven above, and so we thank You, oh Lord, we thank You, for all Your love!

You crown your year with goodness O Lord, make us truly thankful!

Lord, we have so much to be thankful for, many times, it’s the good, and sometimes it’s the not so good that makes us thankful. But, we have learned along the way, that in good times and in bad times that you are always with us and whatever we go through is for our learning so that we could share with someone else. Thank you, Lord!

We have so much to be thankful for. Thank you, Lord!

Lord, you have given us so much, but, how do we thank you? We are rebellious, ungrateful, always complaining, and never satisfied, but yet, O Lord, your hand is outstretched still to help us. May we recognize your goodness and your mercy towards us each and every day and learn to give you thanks. Amen!

Is your shepherd leading you astray?

Too many of our brothers and sisters have found themselves among the wrong flock, being led astray by their shepherd. We need to be aware of who is shepherding our flock, we need to be aware of the sounds they make, we need to understand just what their mission is. For those shepherds who are ordained by God, listen to Him, they know His voice and they know how to shepherd God’s flock. Let us pray to God for the discernment to know the voice of the Good Shepherd and follow Him.
