Will you allow the birth of the Christ-child to transform you?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, be transformed by the renewing of your minds! We have been conforming to the ways of the world for too long, and this has brought us nothing but sorrow and pain. But, with the birth of the Christ-child, we could now turn a new page, we could begin anew, but it all begins with one step, taking one step closer to God.

How many people have you told the good news, that Jesus Christ is born?

Jesus is the reason for the season. So many people want to celebrate the holidays and seem to forget that it’s not just any holiday, it’s the Christmas holiday where we are bound to keep Christ in Christmas, for He is the reason why we are celebrating. We have been waiting expectantly for the return of the Christ-Child, born to set us free from the bondage of sin, and for that, we are thankful, we are joyful, and telling the good news to all who will hear.

Are you at peace with yourself and your neighbor?

You will in your daily life deal with strife, confusion, hatred, jealousy, envy and covetousness, but handle them all with prayer. The more peaceful you are with God and yourself, the easier it is to handle these situations. When your enemies confront you and you respond peacefully it makes them angry. Because they cannot understand why they cannot get you to behave in the same manner. Help them to understand that you have the peace of God which surpasses all understand, and that God’s peace gives you love to concur every foe. Praise the Lord!

Thank you, Lord, for sending us your Son, the Savior of the world.

“Lo the Lamb so long expected, comes with pardon down from heaven, let us all with tears of sorrow, one and all to be forgiven. So when next He comes with glory, and the world is wrapped in fear, may He with His mercy shield us, and with words of love draw near.”

Is your warring dulling your ears to the good news of Christ?

It’s time to be at peace, to be still and hear the angels sing. “For lo, the days are hastening on, by prophets seen of old, when with the ever circling years, shall come the time foretold. When peace shall over all the earth, its ancient splendors fling, and all the world give back the song, which now the angels sing.”

Have you yet received the new born king?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, if we have received Jesus, our new born king, the joy of the world, then, let us with a gladsome mind sing it out abroad, “Joy to the world the Lord is come, let earth receive her king. Let every heart prepare him room and heaven and nature sing and heaven and and heaven and heaven and nature sing.”

Thank you Lord, for sending your Son Jesus, to secure our peace.

If God’s peace is in our hearts, he will be in our homes. May your hearts and your home be filled with all the joys of the Christmas Season. Let us keep Christ in Christmas. Merry Christmas from our house to your house.

Lord, I am making all of my crooked places straight because I want you to walk in them.

For too long, I have walked the paths of the ungodly, for too long, I have grieved my Lord, but I can no longer walk in willfulness, or out of the way of God. Therefore, I asked my Lord to help me, to make all of my crooked ways straight, and teach me to obey His statutes and walk in the ways of my God. Amen!

Will your home be ready for when the Mighty guest appears?

Lord, please make a home in our hearts that will be worthy of such a Mighty guest as our Jesus. For too long we have been stained with sin, we have been sick and in need of our Great Physician, we have been straying like lost sheep, but thanks be to God, help is on the way, our refuge and our great reward is near, so we will get ready.

Have you allowed others or anything to rob you of your peace?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, there are so many things that could rob us of our peace, but, we must be vigilant, we must be aware of these things and learn to handle them with prayer. When we allow anything to rob us of our peace, we are then forced to live in turmoil and that is not what our Lord wants for us. He wants us to be peaceful and humble at heart. He wants us to be peaceful so that we could be still in His presence and hear from Him and be able to do His will. “Peace be still.”
