Are you tired of making the same requests to God?

I don’t know about you, but I am tired of asking God to forgive me for the same sin. Lord, I know that you are a forgiving and an understanding God, but, you also remind me in your word, that your spirit will not always strive with me, and I do not want your anger to turn against me, so please keep me from presumptuous sins, do not let them have dominion over me, so please Lord, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Amen!

My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 9

“Therefore most gladly will I rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, I take pleasure in my infirmities, in distresses, in needs, in persecutions for Christ sake, for when I am weak I am strong”. This morning you may be tired of your situation, you may feel like you can’t go on, you may be wondering when this all will end, but know that God’s grace is sufficient for you, that his strength is in made perfect in your weakness, that he will carry you when you are too tired to walk, that he will be our comforter when all seems lost. Know that your situation did not come to stay, it came to pass. So this morning, if you are feeling weak, let the weak say, “I am strong in the Lord and in the power of his might”.

Will you trust God to carry you through every difficulty you face?

God is able! We should never doubt his abilities. He is with us every step of the way. Even when we are convinced that He has forgotten us, he is ever near. God will not give us any burden to carry that is too much for us. All we need is faith in God to overcome.

Do you feel like you are being constantly attacked spiritually?

Well, if you feel this way, be sure to be clothed with the whole armor of God, not a piece of the armor, but the whole armor of God. Gird your waist with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, be armed with the gospel of peace, take up the shield of faith, put on the helmet of salvation, lift up the sword of the spirit which is the word of God, and be watchful to the end with perseverance.

Will you set your minds on things above, not on the things on the earth?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, since we have been renewed in Christ Jesus, we should set our minds on heavenly things, leaving those earthly things behind. “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness and longsuffering, bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. If anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you must also do.”

Our God is an awesome God!

Lord, I will daily lift my eyes to you, because you are my helper; my help comes from you alone. My footsteps are sure because you order them. You will not fall asleep as you watch over me, no, you will not slumber nor sleep. Lord, you keep me safe, you are my shade whenever I need you, the sun was not meant to strike me during the daytime, nor the moon my night, but, will provide light in my darkest hours. Lord, I thank you, for protecting me from all evil, thank you, for preserving my soul, thank you, for protecting me in my going out and my coming in, from this time forth and even forever more. Amen!

God has given us the assurance, that we must be faithful unto death, because He is alive and will live forevermore, and will give us the crown of life.

Jesus says, “Persevere, have patience, labor for My sake, and do not become weary, do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I am He who lives and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen!”

Lord, lift me up and let me stand, by faith on heaven’s table land. No higher plane than I have found, Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

Lord, plant my feet on higher ground; that is all I am asking you this morning, please, plant my feet on higher ground. Dear Lord, many this morning including myself are looking to you for a higher plane, we are pressing upward every day yet it seems like we are taking steps backward; for each new height gained the enemy strikes to bring us down, but, Lord, show us how to keep on praying as we onward go, lift us up and let us stand, by faith on heavens table land, because our hearts have no desire to stay, where doubts arise and fears dismay, though some may dwell where those abound, our prayer, our aim, is higher ground. Praise the Lord!

The law has no faith, but the man who does them shall live by them. Galatians 3:12

Therefore, He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? The law is not of faith, but the man who does them shall live by them.

“I will delight myself in Your statutes, I will not forget your word. Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may keep your word.”

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the way of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His commandments, who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity, they walk in His ways. Oh, that my ways were directed to keep Your statutes, then I would not be ashamed. When I look into all Your commandments, I will praise You with uprightness of heart. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all richness, and contemplate Your ways. Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments, Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Psalm 119
