The man who fears the Lord, shall thus indeed be blessed. Psalm 128:4

My brothers and sisters in Christ, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, search for the Lord and His strength, continually seek His face. Happy are they all who fear the Lord, and who follow His ways. You shall eat the fruit of your labor, happiness and prosperity shall be yours. Let those who seek the Lord rejoice!

Jesus says, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “Are you washed in the blood, in the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb, are your garments spotless, are they white as snow; are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?” Jesus reminds us in John chapter 13, that, unless He washes us, we have no part with Him. But, many of us are like Simon Peter who are not all clean and need to be washed from every stain of sin. So, dear Lord, wash us from the crown of our heads to the sole of our feet, cleanse us from the inside out, purify us with hyssop, and we shall be clean; wash us, and we shall be whiter than snow, for we understand, that, unless You wash us, we could have no part with You. Amen!

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our Salvation! Psalm 68:19

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, God blesses us; we have so much to give Him thanks for, to God be the glory great things He has done! “Oh sing praises to the Lord, to Him who rides on the heavens of heavens, which were of old. Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice. Ascribe strength to God, His excellence is over Israel and His strength is in the clouds. Oh God, you are more awesome than your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits!”

“Savior teach me day by day, love’s sweet lesson to obey, sweeter lesson cannot be, loving Him who first loved me.”

“Lord, teach me that I am not my own, I am Thine and Thine alone, Thine to keep, to rule, to save, from all sin that would enslave. With a child’s glad heart of love, at Thy bidding may I move, prompt to serve and follow Thee, loving Him who first loved me.”

Arise and shine for the light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1

“For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the people, but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you. The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun shall no longer go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.” Thank you, Lord!

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up refuse and mud. There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked. Isaiah 57: 20-21

“They do not know the way of peace, and there is no justice in their tracks; they have made their paths crooked, whoever treads on them, does not know peace.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, the way of the wicked will only prosper for a while and he will have no peace; therefore, let us put away from us all manner of evil. If we take away the yoke from our midst, the pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness; if we extend our soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, when we share our bread with the hungry, and bring into our house, the poor who are cast out, when we see the naked and we cover him, and hide ourselves from our own flesh, the Lord promised, that, our light shall break forth like the morning, that our healing will spring forth speedily, and His glory shall be our rear guard, the Lord will guide us continually and satisfy our soul in drought, he will strengthen our bones, we shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters does not fail. We will be at peace. Then, we shall call and the Lord will answer, we shall cry and He shall say, “Here I am.” Oh, glory be to God!

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble, and those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:9-10

There are many going through rough times who say that the Lord has forgotten them, but the fact is, those in distress have forgotten to call upon God. He said, “Call on me and I will answer you, I will be with you in trouble, I will deliver you and honor you. Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. With a long life I will satisfy him and let him see My salvation.” The Lord is ever present to help us; we need not walk the lonesome valley alone.

Search me out, O God, and now my heart; try me and know my restless thoughts. Look well, whether there be any wickedness in m y and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139: 22-23

“Lord, you have searched me out and known me, you know my sitting down and my rising up, you discern my thoughts from afar. You trace my journeys and my resting places and are acquainted with all my ways. Indeed, there is not a word on my lips, but you, O Lord now it altogether. You press upon me behind and before and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, it is so high I cannot attain to it. Where can I go then from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?” I cannot and will not try to hide from you O Lord, continue to search me out and try me, see if there is any wicked way within me and cleanse me from them all. Amen!

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Matthew 5:11

“Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, a people in whose heart is My law; Do not fear the reproach of man, nor be dismayed at their reviling, for it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him, and if you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.”

And the children of Israel said to the Lord, “We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems best to you, only deliver us this day we pray.” Judges 10:15

How many times have we done wrong in God’s sight, yet, we never humble ourselves before him, but, still think we should be delivered from his judgment? Let us pray! Lord, we have not obeyed the voice of You, our God, to walk in Your teachings which You have set before us; therefore, open shame belongs to us, but, to You, O Lord, belong compassion and forgiveness. We have sinned before You, and we humbly confess them now in Your presence. We will amend our ways and obey Your voice, and ask You to have mercy upon us, O God, and in Your loving-kindness to blot out our offenses. Our times are in Your hands O Lord, do to us whatever seems best to You, but, please, make Your face to shine upon us, Your humble servants, save us in Your loving kindness, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O Lord!
