“Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands. Keep your promise, Lord, and forgive my sins, for they are many”.

Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Psalm 25:4

I know, Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course. Guide us in your truth and teach us, for you are God, our Savior, and our hope is in you all day long. If it is true that you look favorably on us, let us know your ways so that we may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor.

And having chosen them, he called them to come to him, and having called them, he gave them right standing with himself, and having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. Romans 8:30

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son, but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Therefore, who dares accuse us, whom God has chosen for his own? No one, for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one, for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. As the Scriptures say, “For Your sake, we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep”. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble, or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Thank you, Lord!

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

“Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper, it only leads to harm; for the wicked will be destroyed, but, those who trust in the Lord will possess the land”.

Many are saying of my soul, “There is no deliverance for him in God”. But, you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. Psalm 3:2-3

“I was crying to the Lord with my voice, and He answered me from His holy mountain. I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side. Lord, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me”. Thank you, Lord!

Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. Psalm 34:5

“I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will dwell securely. In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone O Lord, will make me dwell in safety. No one who trusts in You will never be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others”.

How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who lapse into falsehood. Psalm 40:4

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him. You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my stronghold, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation. Lord, you have put more joy in my heart, than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine”. Thank you, Lord!

I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:6

“And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord”.

For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. O continue Your loving-kindness to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart. Psalm 36:9

“And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts”.

Even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; and I will bear you and I will deliver you! To whom would you liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me; that we would be alike? Jeremiah 46: 4-5

To God, be the glory! To God, be the glory! To God, be the glory, for great things he has done. By his love, he has saved me, by his blood he redeemed me, by his grace he upholds me, oh great things he has done. My God is unchanged, he promised, that, he will be with me even to my old age, to my graying years that he will bear me, that he will carry me and deliver me. There is no one that I would liken to him, or make equal to him, or compare to him. There is no one who has done or could do what my God has done and continue to do for me. To God be the glory! To God be the glory! To God, be the glory, for great things he has done!
