BOOK REVIEWS Madge Daway – My daily devotional – August 7, 2013

I begin every day by reading this book, including it in my devotions. It offers encouragement and guidance and is a reminder that God is always present, no matter the situation. I recommend that everyone purchase a copy. Ms. Jewellyn has done a Great Job.

Arian L. Murray – Power in personality…, May 14, 2012

To be very clear, I have just purchased this book and have not read it yet, but I am compelled to leave a review on the author. Working my normal morning shift at a local flea market I came in contact with Jewellyn Greer and her joyous and peaceful personality. Not knowing who she was I can recall imaging what the world would be like if there were more people like her. Warm spirit, positive and uplifting dialogue and filled with a spirit of praise on her lips. I can only say that if the woman I met this morning is the woman who authored this book, ‘Prayers For Everyday Living’ should be a best seller.

sjctobe – My re-introduction to prayer, August 1, 2012

I met Jewel Greer at a time when I knew that I needed prayer and faith like never before.

Her book was a gift to me from a mutual friend of ours. It is one of the best gifts I’ve received. Prayers for Everyday living is my icebreaker of prayer. It helps me structure and start my conversation with God. As you flip through the pages you’ll see there is literally a prayer that fits us all. Some days in my meditation, I use three or four.

Over the past 18 months I have struggled with fear, anxiety, uncertainty and so many other feelings. I’ve been unemployed, re-employed and partially employed, PFEDL truly helped my calm my nerves, and lighten my burden by giving me the words to ask and pray for whatever I may feel I need to pray for at the time. It lighten the burden by giving it to God.

Jewel Greer, the author is a genuine god send to me. She’s humble and giving and selfless. She says all the time at her signings, in the grocery store, or where ever that hers is a ministry of being there and she is. On the page, on the other end of a facebook morning prayer, or email.

I’ve passed this book along to several friends and family members, they’ve all enjoyed reading her passages and prayers. She truly opens your heart and mind to a conversation with our Lord Jesus Christ. sjctobe – Boston

Thank you for enlightening the world with your book. I opened it this morning for a prayer about my tired-ness : (and I found the prayer for overwhelmed. I guess He knows what’s up.) May God continue to work more in your life.  – Robin, Jon and Aaron – Boston

You my Angel, I tell everyone about you and how I met you and how you saved my life. I was so depressed, I was so drunk, I wanted to kill myself, and I found myself in the parking lot of your church and I could not get out. You stopped and asked me if I was lost, and I started to cry, and you told me to park the car and get out. When I came out, you hugged me and said, “I am going to Bible Study and you are welcomed,” and I said no, not my state everyone will judge me, and I began to tell you my story, and you said to me, “God imprisoned you in the church yard for a reason, come with me.” I went to the Bible Study and to my surprise, no one judged me, when I told them some of what I was going through, they welcomed me with open arms. You saved me that night, and I will never forget you. Since that day, you have never stopped checking in on me, you gave me your book, Prayers for Everyday Living and I  am reading it constantly, it is a blessing. You invited me to church, and now, I also take my granddaughter to church. May God continually bless you and keep you, and lead you those who need you the most. Alba – Florida
